Helga Dalla Photographer

My passion for photography has always been present. After a lot of travelling around Australia and the world, and missing capturing so many breath taking photo opportunities, I decided to study photography.

After the birth of my first grandchild, I realised that I wanted to capture every fleeting moment, every development and adventure for them to reflect on in years to come.  I now have 3 adorable grand daughters, that I’m sure I drive crazy at times with my camera in their face.

My style is natural, fresh and candid.  I love to capture the everyday moments to remember forever.  I enjoy taking photos that show people as they really are – a cheeky smile, an unprompted laugh, often the best shots are the ones you don’t even realise I’m taking!  I shoot on location, whether it be your home, the park, beach or another favourite spot.

Capture the special memories in your life, precious pregnancies,  birthdays, sporting events, performances, anniversaries, new born and even our four legged friends, yes we cant’ forget the pets!  At weddings I prefer to work behind the scenes, rather than front and centre, to capture the real spirit of the special day and unique personality of the couple and their friends. I find that couples are increasingly opting for beautiful candid shots that share the story and timeline of their day, rather than simply posing for hours at a time between the wedding and receiption.

Thank you for taking the time to browse my portfolio, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
